The British Academy Film and Television Awards announced five young actors shortlisted for their 2014 Rising Star Award in London on Monday.
Lea Seydoux has seen a rapid rise after her roles in "Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol" and Woody Allen's "Midnight in Paris". It culminated in 2013 with her win of the Cannes Film Festival's Palme d'Or, for the controversial drama "Blue Is The Warmest Color".
The 28-year-old actress, who was in London for the announcement, said getting so many accolades hasn't sunk in for her yet, but she felt rewarded for the tough work on the shoot.
"It’s a very moving story, extremely strong and intense and I think that also it's nice to have that kind of cinema, it's a very realistic film and it’s nice to see real people and real emotions. I’m very proud of the film and I really love the film," Seydoux said.

Both Will Poulter and George MacKay were also present. Having gone to the same school within a year of each other, they jokingly confessed to friendly rivalry.
"We hate each other, it's going to get really messy. I think physical blows might follow after this. I’m wearing very movable clothes so I’m ready for any fight if there is one," MacKay said.
"I'm in the tightest pants, as they say, of all time so I wouldn’t be kicking. It will all be upper body if we’re into a scrap," Poulter said.
MacKay was last seen in young adult novel adaptation "How I live Now" opposite Saoirse Ronan, while Poulter impressed audiences last in the comedy "We're the Millers", where he had to assume an American accent.
Lupita Nyong'o has blown critics away with her debut in awards contender "12 Years A Slave", while Dane DeHaan has been doing the festival circuit for this literary drama "Kill Your Darlings" and will soon be seen in the "Amazing Spiderman 2".
The EE Rising Star Award is the only award at the EE British Academy Film Awards to be voted for by the public. The ceremony will take place on February 16 in London.
