The man from Portugal on serve in the fourth game, but Murray sends back a blistering return that he lunges for... and misses... The Scotsman pulling level at two-all.

And he keeps up the pressure with Sousa serving again in game six... The two-time major winner getting to everything. Then he fires this shot down the line, en route to winning the first set 6-3.

Murray on serve, and Sousa comes to the net to give himself a chance... but the World Number Seven simply hits it where he isn’t, too much open space in the back court there and Murray goes on to win the second set 6-4, booking his place in the quarterfinals where he'll play Gilles Simon.

David Ferrer also looking to advance, but it would not be easy against fellow Spaniard Feliciano Lopez... First set tiebreak here, but Lopez hits the net on this return, and he quickly loses his mojo after that miscue.

Later it’s Ferrer trying to close out match point, but Lopez hangs tough until this return, which he ends up hitting long, and the World Number Four goes through to the quarters 7-6, 6-2.
