The Elton John AIDS Foundation has presented its 22nd annual Academy Awards Viewing Party on Sunday in West Hollywood. Sir Elton John and partner David Furnish hosted the gala event. Dinner was prepared by Chef Gordon Ramsay, for guests to enjoy while watching the 86th Academy Awards.

Among the items auctioned were an original photograph of Elton John with the late John Lennon, and a five-night stay at the exclusive beach-front Hawaiian home of Rock Musician Steven Tyler. Musical guests included Ed Sheeran and DJ Johnny Dynell.

Over the past 22 years, the event has raised nearly 40 million dollars to support a wide range of initiatives, including direct treatment and support services for people living with HIV/AIDS. The co-chairs of this year's event included a host of stars such as Jim Carrey, Judi Dench, Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban.
