As March begins, milder weather is just around the corner. And spring is definitely in the air as flowers are starting to bloom around China. Let's take a look now at some of the sights brightening up the country.
In Shanghai, plum blossom is blanketing the Mei Yuan Park, as the first plum blossom festival of the year is underway. 126 types and more than 35 thousand plum blossom trees attract many tourists.
The Plum Blossom Festival lasts until March 23rd.
And in Southwest China's Guizhou Province, cherry blossom is blooming. Hundreds have turned out to admire the flowers.

Different from its Japanese cousin, which is pink, the blossom in Guizhou is mostly white. And tourists are lured by its beauty-- and of course are keen for a good photo opportunity.
In South China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, Spring has already arrived. Flowers are flourishing in the city of Nanning. Cole flowers, chrysanthemums and peach flowers are all blooming in every corner of the city.
In this park in Nanning, there are more than 100 acres of peach flowers. They are in full blossom in February and March, so don't miss it.
And cole flowers are also blooming in Sichuan Province. The golden flowers also attract lots of tourists, with some of them even feeling the urge to burst into song. Besides enjoying the flowers, tourists can also pick oranges and try some local delicacies.
Most of these scenic spots are not far from the nearby city. As Spring is just around the corner, it's time to hit the road and enjoy the charm of Spring time.
