Ukraine’s parliament votes in favour of an anti-crisis law approving austerity measures.
The draft law is being demanded by the International Monetary Fund as part of a 14 -18 billion US dollar bailout package. It was proposed by the interim government of Prime Minister Arseny Yatsenyuk. But it failed to win enough votes from lawmakers. Deputies are continuing to discuss the issue and are trying to find a compromise.
