Eason Chan took the London audience into his musical world on Friday, sharing moments from his life's journey.
EASON'S LIFE has received rousing success since its launch at the Hong Kong Coliseum last July. The unexpected and overwhelming demand for tickets led his Hong Kong promoters to increase performances there from an initial 12, to 25.
Chan first graced the O2 stage back in 2012 for a sold-out gig- the first Chinese artist to perform there. This time, tickets sold out in less than 20 minutes, setting a new record for the Best Selling Overseas Chinese Concert.
Two months ago, Chan visited the UK's Kingston University to be named an Honorary Doctor of Arts of his old faculty. Vice-Chancellor Professor Julius Weinberg said Chan was honored for his extraordinary achievements in the music industry, and much more.
Hailed as a frontrunner of a new generation of Cantonese pop stars, Chan is praised by critics and his contemporaries as one of the top performers of his era.
This was Chan's third outing in London. He will go on to give his first-ever show in Paris, France on Monday.
