He's cute, he's smart and has tons of amazing inventions in his pocket. The classic Japanese anime character is now in Beijing. Doraemon is a robot cat that's loved by millions of fans in Asia.

Everybody's favourite blue cat is here! And all 100 of them. The event is called "100 Doraemon Secret Gadgets Expo", 100 life size Doraemon figures filled the square of the Beijing's Chaoyang district.

"This is the second time that a Doraemon expo has been held in Beijing. We hope it will be a fun place for fans to get together and recount the rich memories of the past. And certainly this event has brought many of the young adults here back to their teens，" said Xu Zhen, marketing director of Chaoyang Joycity Beijing.

The Doraemon series are comedies that teach values of honesty, perseverance, courage and respect. His boy master Nobita Nobi often learns such lessons after abusing the gadgets that Doramon provides.

These gadgets have captured the imagination of countless children. From compact hydro guns to puppet cats that draw in customers and robtic eyes to search for your lost things, each set revives a piece of buried memory in the minds of the fans.

The expo runs until June 22nd.
