World Cup host nation Brazil took on Mexico in their second Group A match in Fortaleza's Castelao Stadium on Tuesday. The match ended in a scoreless draw.
Mexico maintained the same line-up they used in the narrow 1-0 victory against Cameroon last Friday.
Brazil only made one change from its 3-1 win over Croatia, with Chelsea midfielder Ramires replacing injured Hulk in the starting eleven.
In the first half, the hosts had a total of nine shots, six of them on target. The Mexicans only had four shots from outside of the area, which all went wide. But neither side could make a crucial breakthrough.
