A rail line in south China's Guangdong Province has resumed normal operation, after a landslide earlier, derailed a passenger train. According to the Guangzhou Railway Authorities, the T171 Nanchang-Guangzhou train encountered a rainstorm-triggered landslide near Qingyuan at about 5 am Thursday.
The 12th carriage derailed injuring five passengers slightly. All passengers were transferred to nearby stations for their onward journey to Guangzhou. The affected carriages were removed for repair.
