The sixth round of China-US Strategic and Economic Dialogue has opened in Beijing. The two-day event brings together senior diplomats and officials from both sides.

Historic lessons and realities prove one thing: if we cooperate, we can all gain ground in the world, but stand against each other and there'll be harm. Cooperation between China and the US will benefit the world, while the opposite would bring disaster."
