A team in Moscow is hoping to build the world's largest model city. With working lights and detailed mosaics, the minitaure scale model promises to be as architecturally impressive as Moscow itself.
This is St Basil's Cathedral and Spasskaya Tower on Moscow's Red Square - but shurnken down a notch.
It is part of an initiative launched by Moscow's Department of Urban Development to build a model city of Moscow. The project was started in late 2012 and is now just about finished.
The model features a scaled down replica of the Kremlin, which is the residence of the Russian President, and the seat of power for the Russian government.
Minute architectural details such as mosaics, and murals on historical buildings like the iconic Bolshoi Theatre, have been painstakingly reconstructed.
The team hopes their model when completed, will become the largest in the world, a goal Lyovkin says he's looking forward to setting.
Over the years more than 80 artists, architectural model makers and graphic designers have worked on the minitarure city.
The model contains more than 65,000 buildings, something which would be near impossible to achieve without modern technology.
To make the mini Moscow more lively and life like, actual boat traffic has been recreated on the Moskva River.
As soon as it's finished, the full size city model will be placed at the All-Russian Exhibition Centre and will be open to visitors.
