The 2014 New Leaders Meeting of the World Economic Forum opens in north China's Tianjin Municipality on Wednesday. The theme for this year is "Creating Value Through Innovation". Ahead of the meeting, Chinese Premier Li Keqiang talked with entrepreneurs and discussed China's economic development and deepening reforms.

Premier Li says this year China's economic growth target is around 7.5 percent and employment is always the biggest concern for the government. By the end of August this year, nearly 10 million new jobs were created in urban areas. He said the key to reform is to deal with the relationship between the government and the market.
China is simplifying administrative approval procedures and giving businesses more management rights. Premier Li will deliver an opening speech at the three-day Forum on Wednesday. More than 1,600 participants from 90 countries will attend panel discussions, debates and small group meetings
