iPhone 6 pre-orders hit record 4 million

The new iPhone 6 is already breaking records, despite not even being on the market yet.

Apple says it received four million pre-orders on Friday, among countries and regions receiving initial supplies. That's twice the number of orders for the iPhone 5 two years ago.

Apple debuted the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 plus last week, which feature larger screens and longer battery life.
