A safari park in the southern Chinese city of Guangzhou has just witnessed the birth of two koala babies, bringing the total number of koalas in Guangzhou to 50. This has made the park the world's second most successful park in rearing the animal after Australia.

A safari park in the southern Chinese city of Guangzhou has just witnessed the birth of two koala babies, bringing the total number of koalas in Guangzhou to 50.

The male and female baby koalas have been named Denny and Dollar.

The safari park first introduced six koalas from Australia in 2006, and the world's first koala twins were born there in 2007. After introducing four more koalas earlier this year, the park now has five generations of koalas living together.

The park organized a meet-and-greet for the koala family, which allowed visitors to interact closely with the animals.
