The Memorial Hall of the Victims in the Nanjing Massacre is making final preparations for the upcoming National Memorial Day.
The hall was established in 1985 in southwestern Nanjing, at the site of one of Japan's execution grounds and mass burials. The coffin-shaped building commemorates the victims slaughtered during the 1937 massacre. In front of the building is a wall, known as Wall of Disaster, etched with the words "300,000 Victims".
