It's cherry blossom season in many cities around the world. Cherry blossoms have burst into full bloom! And here to catch the sight are many flower lovers in Wuhan city of central China's Hubei Province.

Wuhan University and the Cherry Garden of East Lake in the city are favoured cherry destinations for tourists.
The night view of cherry blossoms has been a characteristic tradition of the East Lake Cherry Garden. In addition to the energy-efficient cold lighting source which protects the trees, various lights add dimension as the finishing touches to the whole cherry garden.
Cherry blossoms official in bloom in Tokyo
It's official - Monday marks the first day of the cherry blossom season in Tokyo, according to Japan's Meteorological Agency.
The whole nation's attention has been focused for a few days on one particular tree, located at the Yasukuni shrine and considered the government's cherry blossom bloom barometer.
"Cherry blossom buds grow to become flowers and they eventually fall. It's a bit sad, but that's part of their beauty," said Masato Kojima, 66-year-old retiree.
Cherry blossom season typically lasts in Tokyo for a week to 10 days with many coming out in to parks to enjoy the warmer spring weather in "hanami" or the custom of enjoying the beauty of flowers with viewing pinics.
"I find each and every cherry blossom bud beautiful during this season, so much so that I feel God's presence in here," said Yoon Duk-Han, 75-year-old jewellery designer.
In Japan schools and companies begin their new year in spring, around the time when the blossoms are in full bloom, the light pink flowers symbolise new beginnings and a fresh start.
