At the Fourth Round of the Chinese F.A. Cup, which would be highlighted by a Beijing Derby featuring CSL leaders Guoan visiting second-tier side Konggu.

Beijing Konggu advances to Quarter-Finals of Chinese F.A. Cup

The contest marking the first time the two sides would meet in an official match -- and it would be the lower-level squad that proved to be kings of the Chinese capital.

Konggu take the lead just five minutes into the match. Yan Xiangchuang, who once played for Guoan, scores off a rebound from a free-kick, 1-NIL, to the League One side.

Guo'an play more aggressively after falling behind, but are unable to convert.

Fifteen minutes after the break, Guoan's Li Yunqiu is caught handling the ball inside the area, giving the hosts a penalty.

Danko Lazovic makes no mistake, and the home team is firmly in control, leading 2-NIL.

Guoan would try and get on the board, but their efforts are all in vain. Shao Jiayi's shot finds the woodwork in injury time, and that is as close as the CSL club gets to scoring. Konggu hold on for the 2-NIL upset win, and move into the Quarter-Finals.

Wu's winner sends Portsmen through to Last Eight

Elsewhere, SIPG would host Guangzhou R&F. It is the visitors who take the lead off a free kick in the 24th minute. Jiang Ning's shot hits the Shanghai club's defender, Wang Shenchao, and bounces into the net. The unlucky deflection puts the road team in front.

But R&F would be whistled for a foul in the area in the second half. Lu Lin brings down Wang in view of the ref.

Dario Conca converts the penalty in the 62nd minute to level things at 1-ALL.

Seven minutes later, SIPG score their second. Conca sends a brilliant long pass to Wu Lei, who rounds the keeper for the winning goal, which sends them into the Quarter-Finals.

And in other results from Wednesday. Shanghai Shenhua, Xinjiang Tianshan, Shandong Luneng, Henan Jianye, and Jiangsu Sainty are all through to the Last Eight as they pick-up victories.

So here is how the Quarter-Finals look. He'nan Jianye take on Shandong Luneng. League One side Xinjiang Tianshan play Jiangsu Sainty. Beijing Konggu are drawn against Guizhou Renhe and Shenhua will have a Shanghai Derby with SIPG.
