Iranian President Hassan Rouhani says if a deal with six world powers is reached, the world would see that Tehran "could solve the greatest issue in political history, through logic and discussion, and maintain the rights of its people".

Even if the talks fail, he said Iran would show the world that it is "logical". His comments come as the negotiating sides face a third extension of talks in two weeks.

"We have talked with the six world powers in a way that even if the nuclear talks fail, our diplomacy showed the world that we are logical. We never left the negotiating table and always provided the best answer," he said.
