Australian authorities have tweaked the latest drift model, to show possible routes of the debris' whereabouts in the Indian Ocean.
In the model, the black lines refer to the current search area; the white arrows refer to wind directions; while the red, black and blue dots refer to possible locations of the debris. The model shows the debris move counter-clockwise first to the north, before heading west. The authorities say the earlier model, designed in last June, was wrong and had misguided the search operation.
