In his day, Mr Six was a local kingpin of the streets, but in his twilight years lives a lonely existence in a hutong. Diagnosed with heart disease, he yearns to see his long-estranged son, Bobby, but can't put aside his pride to connect with him again.
Perversely, his chance comes when Bobby is kidnapped by a group of rich kids, who humiliate Mr. Six when he tries to reason with them. He responds by summoning his old gang to apply some old-fashioned tactics to get Bobby back, teaching the young kids some important lessons in manhood.
