One of the jobs for NPC deputies is to draft motions. According to data from this session's secretariat, over 462 motions were filed as of Friday noon. The contents deal with laws on the market and economy, developing democracy, cultural reform, people's livelihoods and the environment.

Other motions focused on legislation work on anti-corruption and supervision on law enforcement. Deputies also filed proposals to address issues relevant to people's daily lives.

As of Saturday noon, 8,609 proposals were received.
