'Batman v Superman' holds premiere in London

Hollywood movie studio Warner Brothers went ahead with its London premiere of "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" on Tuesday, despite terrorist attacks in Brussels earlier in the day. Following Christian Bale, Michael Keaton, Val Kilmer, and George Clooney, what will Ben Affleck make of Batman?

"Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" stars Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill as the title characters.
While Cavill reprises his "Man of Steel" role, this film marks Affleck's first outing as the Caped Crusader.
"It is a dream, and it's been done by, obviously - Christopher Nolan and Christian Bale made three great movies that immediately preceded this. And other people, other great talents, have done it. So it was very daunting," Ben Affleck said.
Apart from Bale, Michael Keaton, Val Kilmer, and George Clooney have all taken on the Bruce Wayne role.
So will Affleck differentiate his performance?
"We wanted to do something that was different and to make it our own, because we didn't want to just try to copy the great stuff those guys had done. We worked very hard, I'm really proud of the movie," he said.
"I'm in it with a great cast and great director and a great script, and I'm really excited for the fans to get to see the movie this weekend."
Similar goals were expressed by director Zack Snyder...
"It was a big deal when we were talking about it, and the whole way in, I knew we were going to go like 'OK, we have to sort of re-boot Batman and figure out what this new Batman is going to be,'" he said.
"Weirdly we settled on - not weirdly, but I think correctly, I hope - we settled on an older Batman, a Batman who had been around for like 20 years, and Ben did an amazing job as Batman - he's amazing. And Henry returning just is Superman to me, so the two of them were amazing."
For 43-year-old Affleck, playing a superhero was tough.
"Going into training and working out so much - I had never done anything like that, and that was very, very challenging," Ben said.
However, his training paid off. Even Cavill, who is 11 years his junior, was impressed.
"We trained in separate places, so there was a bit of competition. I mean, certainly when you saw Ben walk onto set I had to try doubly hard in the gym the next day," Henry Cavill said.
"Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" is released in U.S. theaters on March the 25th.
