Chinese leaders have wrapped up this year's annual Central Economic Work Conference in Beijing, after mapping out economic and reform plans for 2017.

The government has promised to further promote supply-side reforms next year, and push for more state sector and fiscal reforms.

New tax and social security measures will also be implemented. China's GDP grew 6.7 percent for the first three quarters of 2016, and is on track to meet the government's annual growth target. But economists say it may take time for the effects to trickle down to private stakeholders.
