Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao will attend several meetings related to the Association of the Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) in Hua Hin of Thailand from Oct. 23 to 25 at the invitation of Thai Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva.
This was announced Tuesday by Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Ma Zhaoxu.
The meetings include the 12th summit between the ASEAN and China (10+1), the 12th summit between the ASEAN and China, Japan and the Republic of Korea (10+3), the fourth East Asia Summit.
The ASEAN, a regional cooperation group, was founded in 1967 and is composed of 10 members.
