The whale, named Tilikkum, attacked and killed a female veretan trainer on Wednesday in a show.

The victim Dawn Brancheau, 40, was one of the most experienced trainers of the park, SeaWorld spokesman Fred Jacobs said.

The park has confirmed that they would not isolate the killer whale and other trainers will continue working with it.

"We have every intention of continuing to interact with this animal, though the procedures for working with him will change," SeaWorld said in a post on its blog.

However, the killer whale shows are suspended indefinitely in Orlando and at the park's San Diego location.
