The trial of Mumbai attacks suspect Ajmal Amir alias Kasab, accused of killing 166 people in the attacks in November 2008, and two Indians charged with taking part in the attacks is likely to conclude on Wednesday, reported the Press Trust of India.
The arguments by prosecution and defense are expected to conclude Wednesday and the Special Court Judge M. L. Tahaliyani may announce the date for the verdict, the report quoted Special Public Prosecutor Ujjwal Nikam as saying.
Kasab was the only gunman of 10 attackers who was caught alive.
The prosecution and court examined 657 witnesses to prove their case that South Asian militant outfit Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) carried out the attacks, according to the report.
