Polish President Lech Kaczynski's coffin will be laid out in state in the Presidential Palace Tuesday, Presidential Minister Jacek Sasin said Monday.
Sasin added that the presidential couple will be buried together. The coffin will be closed.
"We want to make it possible for all Poles willing to pay tribute to the late president to come here and bow their heads," Sasin stressed, quoted by the Polish news agency PAP.
President Kaczynski's body was brought to Poland from Russia Sunday.
Meanwhile, government and Presidential Chancellery officials met on Monday morning to discuss preparations for the funeral of the people killed in the crash of the presidential plane near Smolensk on Saturday.
According to the head of the Government Information office, the meeting will focus on assistance to the families of the victims of the tragic crash and organization of the funeral of the president.
The Polish president, his wife and 94 government, state and parliament officials as well as army commanders, Katyn Family members were killed in a plane crash when they had been heading Saturday to honour 22,000 Polish officers slain in the former Soviet Union in 1940.
