Two people were killed in a car blast in Iran's western city of Ilam on Tuesday, local satellite Alalam TV reported.
A taxi exploded in Ilam's Ferdosi street killing the two people and injuring eight others, the report said without elaborating the identity of the victims or attackers.
The blast caused the windows of the neighborhood shops broken, according to the Arab language TV.
The report did not give the reason behind the blast.
The explosion came over a week after "unknown gunmen fired a rocket-propelled grenade at the prison's wall when they were driving by in two cars," according to the local satellite Press TV.
Two prisoners managed to escape during the attack, Press TV said, citing Ilam Governor Nourallah Arjomandi.
According to another report by Iran's semi-official Mehr news agency, the blast in the prison attack injured 14 but killed no one.
