Salva Kiir Mayardit wins south Sudan presidency

The Sudan People's Liberation Movement (SPLM) leader Salva Kiir Mayardit won the presidency of south Sudan government by receiving 92.2 percent of the votes, Sudanese sources said Monday, about an hour before the final results are expected to be announced.
