4 killed, 26 injured in mosque blast in Sargodha, Pakistan

At least four people were killed and 26 others injured in a suicide blast which went off Sunday night at a crowded mosque in the city of Sargodha in the Punjab province of Pakistan, reported local media.
Among the injured people, at least ten persons were in critical condition, said hospital sources.
According to the reports, the blast took place at about 7:40 p. m. (local time) at the Shia mosque located in Block 19 area of the city, in which there were at least 300 prayers.
A stampede occurred following the blast as people inside the mosque were greatly panicked.
Rescue team has been dispatched to the blast site and the injured people have been shifted to DHQ Hospital of the city.
Police have cordoned off the area. The body of the suicide bomber has been found on the site by the police.
No group has claimed the responsibility for the blast.
The suicide blast happened on the day when the U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton arrived in Pakistan for a two-day visit to the country, during which she will reportedly announce a massive aid package on Monday for Pakistan partially in a bid to temper anti-Americanism in Pakistan by helping the energy-starved and water-shortage country to build dams and power plants as well as schools and hospitals.
Sunday's suicide blast in Sargodha is the fifth of its kind that happened in Pakistan in July. Prior to this, four suicide blasts were reported across the country, killing hundreds of people while injuring many others. In a July 9th twin suicide bomb attack in Mohmand Agency alone, 107 people were killed and more than 120 others were injured.
