An Iranian lawmaker said the Iranian Majlis (Parliament) will take up the case of the recent terror attacks against two Iranian scientists with the United Nations, the local satellite Press TV reported on Thursday.
"The Human Rights Committee of Majlis will follow up the issue through the UN and the Human Rights Council," Zohreh Elahian was quoted as saying.
Majlis will pursue the matter in line with efforts to defend the Iran's nuclear rights, Elahian said on Wednesday.
Iran strongly condemned the inclusion of Fereidoon Abbasi's name as an Iranian "nuclear scientist" in the UN Security Council Resolution 1747 and linked the recent terror attempt against Abbasi to the leak of confidential information related to the country's nuclear program.
Iranian officials also accused the UN Security Council and IAEA for disclosing confidential information on Iran's nuclear scientists and accused the West and Israel for assassination on the two Iranian nuclear scientists.
In two separate terrorist acts in northern Tehran last week, Iranian nuclear scientist Dr. Majid Shahriari was killed and Dr. Fereidoon Abbasi was wounded when they were driving to work.
