Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao is to visit Malaysia and Indonesia from April 27 to 30, at the invitation of Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak and Indonesian President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono.
According to a press release from the Chinese Foreign Ministry, Premier Wen will meet with leaders of the two countries during the visits to discuss developing state-to-state relationship and mutually beneficial cooperation, and exchange views on international and regional issues of common concern.
"The visits will promote Sino-Malaysian and Sino-Indonesian ties, as well as the relations between China and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations(ASEAN), and give impetus to regional peace, stability and prosperity," said the press release.
