The Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) held a massive rally Monday to oppose the anti-DPRK policies of the Republic of Korea (ROK)'s authorities, the official news agency KCNA reported.

More than 100,000 citizens, soldiers and senior government and army officials flocked to the Kim Il-sung Square for the event, it said.

According to the KCNA, a statement of the Supreme Command of the Korean People's Army (KPA) was read out at the gathering, which was followed by speeches respectively made by representatives of the KPA, youth and students, workers and farmers.

In his speech, KPA General Jang Jong-nam said those who do harm to the dignity of the leadership of DPRK will not be able to "go scot-free on this land and in the sky." The KPA has never made an empty talk, he warned.

Recently, the DPRK government, army and media have issued multiple statements or articles condemning the "successive provocations" from Seoul.
