Sarkozy to visit Libya after Gaddafi's capture

French President Nicolas Sarkozy would pay a visit to Libya as soon as possible, but only after the capture of embattled Libyan Leader Muammar Gaddafi, a local newspaper reported on Friday.
According to the daily Le Parisien, Sarkozy would fly to the North African country with the British Prime Minister David Cameron after the meeting of the contact group on Libya scheduled for Sept. 1 in Paris.
However, the due visit will be made only if Gaddafi is in the rebels' hand, the report added, citing sources close to the president office, the Elysee Palace.
Should that scenario come to pass, Sarkozy is expected to visit Libyan capital Tripoli, Misrata and Benghazi, the rebels' strongholds.
On Monday, rebel fighters streamed into Tripoli and seized strategic zones forcing pro-Gaddafi forces to collapse and breaking months-long conflict. However, Gaddafi's whereabouts remain unknown.
Rebels offered a bounty of 2 million dinars (1.6 million U.S. dollars) on Gaddafi, no matter his is dead or alive.
