Indonesian police will deploy an anti-bomb squad to secure the 26th SEA Games from terrorism threat, the country's largest online news portal detik.com quoted a top police officer as saying in Jakarta on Monday.
"Let me put this way, this is an international event that certainly could be threatened by bomb and terror. So, we will deploy a bomb squad," said Chief of Indonesian Police Gen. Timur Pradopo.
"We are ready for the biannually sport event and make sure the venues of South Sumatra province as well as West Java province are safe," he said.
