The death toll of the clashes erupted near the Egyptian Ministry of Interior between protesters and security forces rose from 8 to 10, driving the whole death toll in clashes in Egypt to 15, Health Ministry Undersecretary Hesham Sheeha said on Tuesday.

The death toll raised on Monday evening in Cairo from 8 to 10 when a man fell down from the Egyptian tax administration in front of the ministry and the second killed in clashes between protesters and unknown people. In Suez, five people were killed since the beginning of the clashes, said Sheeha.

The injured toll of the clashes which started on Thursday as of Tuesday reached 641, among them 523 were in Cairo, 103 in Suez, and 15 in Alexandria, Sheeha added.

The clashes erupted as a protest against the football match riot in which 74 were killed and more than 1,000 injured last Wednesday in Port Said governorate.

The ruling Supreme Council of the Armed Forces blamed some internal and external parties for the clashes in Egypt.
