2 killed in US high school shooting

Two people, both believed to be adults, were dead in a high school shooting Tuesday in the U.S. state of Florida, media reported.
The shooting occurred at Episcopal High School in Jacksonville, Florida, according to the Florida Times-Union.
Melissa Bujeda, a spokeswoman for the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office, said officers received a report of shooting at around 1:30 p.m. When they arrived at the scene, they found two people dead.
The incident appeared to be murder-suicide, with one of two dead persons believed to have been the shooter, according to the report. No students were involved or injured.
"The situation is under control. At this time there is no outstanding suspects," the Sheriff's Office said in an email.
Neither dead person was immediately identified. The circumstances of the shooting were still under investigation.
Episcopal enrolls approximately 900 students annually in grades 6-12, according to its website. Its main campus is situated on 56 acres along the south bank of the St. Johns River in central Jacksonville.
The incident came a week after three students were fatally shot and two others wounded in a school shooting in Ohio.
Thomas Lane, the 17-year-old suspect, has been charged with three juvenile counts of aggravated murder, two counts of attempted aggravated murder and one count of felonious assault.
