China condemns school shooting in France

Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Hong Lei said Wednesday that China condemns the recent school shooting in France.
"We condemn violence against civilians, especially innocent students," Hong said at a regular press briefing when commenting on the shooting in the Ozar Hatorah Jewish school in Toulouse, France, on Monday, which left a professor, his two sons, and another student dead.
Hong also expressed condolences to the victims and sympathy to their families.
French officials said Wednesday morning that police have surrounded the hideout of the main suspect, and his brother has been arrested.
