In her twitter account, Michelle Obama published Monday a photo of her holding an absentee ballot, with the words "I just dropped my absentee ballot in the mail - I couldn't wait for Election Day! " She also provided a link to the Obama reelection campaign's official site, which contained instructions on how to vote absentee.
Minutes later, Obama published in his official twitter account a message saying he's following Michelle's lead, and will vote early on October 25 in person. He encouraged those who can vote early to join him.
The Obama campaign has embarked on an early voting drive, as dozens of states have started early voting procedures. The president has used his campaign appearances to call on supporters to do so.
