The first Libyan Military Science Technology Exhibition was unveiled on Sunday at Maitiga Air Base in the Libyan capital of Tripoli.

Mohamed al-Bargathi, undersecretary of Libyan defense minister, attended the opening ceremony, saying that Libya needs to build a new and strong army, put the focus on training soldiers and make all ready to confront the enemy.

He added that the Defense Ministry will consider future cooperation with the participants of the exhibition.

According to the organizers, the four-day exhibition attracted 56 companies and 137 participants coming from 21 countries.
