Garcia was in Suzhou, eastern China's Jiangsu Province, for the 4th China-Europe High-Level Political Parties Forum, held from April 22 to 23.
Her party signed a memorandum of understanding with the Communist Party of China on April 23. Both parties agreed to have more high-level exchange and cooperation.
She said Spain appreciated China buying its government debt, a support for her country which is currently still working through an economic crisis.
China and Spain will have a great range of cooperation in the fields of trade, energy and agricultural machinery and social service management, Garcia explained.
She also revealed that Spanish Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy will visit China in September of this year and a series of agreements on investment will be signed.
