Wali-ur-Rehman, Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) leader, was killed in a US drone strike in northwestern Pakistan on May 29, 2013, Pakistani officials said.

A total of six Taliban militants died in the strike.

Wali-ur-Rehman was killed when missiles fired from an unmanned aircraft struck a house near the district's main town of Miranshah.

Senior officials in Washington declined to provide details of the operations, and only hinted that Wali-ur-Rehman had been killed, AFP reported.
