French president says alleged US spying 'unacceptable'

French President Francois Hollande on Monday told U.S. President Barack Obama that alleged U.S. spying behaviors "are unacceptable," media quoted a statement made by Hollande's office as saying.

Hollande had demanded "explanations" from Obama, it said.
