Sudanese army says foreign planes infiltrated Sudanese airspace

Sudanese army said on Wednesday that foreign planes infiltrated the Sudanese airspace, threatening to shoot down any plane that would not follow the proper procedures.
"On May 17 and 20, the aerial surveillance devices monitored infiltration to the Sudanese airspace by planes belonging to international and regional organizations without getting prior permission," Ahmed Khalifa Al-Shami, Sudanese army spokesman, said in a statement.
He said the infiltration was made by Ilyushin 76 planes, which "constitute a flagrant violation to the sovereignty of the country and a clear violation of all international conventions and laws governing the air navigation."
He said the Sudanese armed forces would decisively deal with any plane that does not follow the proper procedures in obtaining a prior permission as a legitimate aerial target.
