On July 24th, 2012, the Ambassador of Greece in China, Mr. Theodore Georgakelos, met with students of the 2nd High school of Thessaloniki and of the American Farm School of Thessaloniki.

Invited by the Chinese Ministry of Education, the students came to Beijing accompanied by their teachers.

The Ambassador talked to them on the relations of Greece and China and on the cooperation In various fields, especially in education and in culture, discussed with them on their impressions from the visit in Beijing and their participation in the program, and was willing to reply to their questions.

Besides, Mr. Georgakelos has been shown around in the school of Beijing Normal University, where the students stay, and was briefed on the schedule and on their activities.
