Reports said at least two powerful missiles struck the Libyan leader's Bab al-Azizia compound early on Monday, BBC reported.
Reports said three TV stations including Libyan Television, Jamahiriya and Shababiya were off air for about half-an-hour following the blasts shortly after midnight.
Although the western countries constantly asserted that they are not going after Gaddafi, this has been the second strike against the Libyan leader's compound. The previous one was on March 13.
The United States, Britain and France all insisted that they will not stop the air strike against Libya until Gaddafi leaves power.
