Michael Jackson's "This is It" song will be available for download at Jackson's website (MichaelJackson.com) at midnight on Monday, October 12, 2009.
The single "This Is It" from a music documentary about Jackson's planned comeback will be heard during the closing credits of the film.
Remixed to backing vocals by Michael Jackson's brothers, the single has been billed by Sony record industry bosses as an "exciting moment in musical history", mirror.co.uk reports.
The single's cover features a new photo of Jackson striking a pose while rehearsing at LA's Staples Center before his doomed "This Is It" London gigs at the O2 Arena.
The 'Michael Jackson's This Is It' movie will be out on October 28. In addition to the documentary, a double disc collection of Michael Jackson's songs will also be available October 27th, a day before the theatrical release of the film.
