'Du Lala' on TV

Following the box-office success of Xu Jinglei's romantic film "Go Lala Go!", a TV version will soon hit China's small screens, Sina.com.cn reports.

Cast members of the TV drama "Du Lala's Promotion", including Wang Luodan, Li Guangjie and Rain Lee, kicked off a promotional tour in Hangzhou on Monday.
Many fans showed up at the press conference to support the show, which will air on several satellite channels around China in July. Some fans told reporters that they believed actress Wang Luodan was very suitable for the role of Lala.
The cast will also visit Shanghai and Qingdao.
"Du Lala's Promotion" is adapted from the 2007 best-selling novel of the same name. The book centers on Du Lala, a young lady who takes the high road to promotion.
The film adaptation "Go Lala Go!", directed by and starring Xu Jinglei, opened in Chinese cinemas last month and has so far grossed more than 100 million yuan (US$14.7 million).
