Veteran Taiwan singer Chyi Chin held a concert at the Mei Lanfang Grand Theater in Beijing on Tuesday (July 27), promoting his new album "Wonderful Life", QQ.com reports.

Chyi performed five songs from his new album, as well as several old hits, such as "Wolf" ("Lang"), "The World Outside" ("Wai Mian De Shi Jie") and "The Moon Represents My Heart" ("Yue Liang Dai Biao Wo De Xin").
Chyi's celebrity friends, including Chelsia Chan, Zhang Yadong, Sha Baoliang, and Hu Haiquan were in attendance.
"I've seen almost all his concerts. He is my favorite Chinese singer whom I've been listening to all the time," said music producer Zhang Yadong who became emotional while praising his friend and icon.
"Wonderful Life" is Chyi's first offering in eight years. On the album, the singer covers 10 songs that he says have great significance for Chinese pop music.
