Superstar singer Beyonce Knowles is pregnant with her first child, according to media reports Thursday.
The 29-year-old was reportedly surprised by the news.
"B was shocked. She loves kids, but she wasn't ready to be a mother just yet," a source told Us Weekly magazine.
"She really wanted to get her album done and tour the world again."
Another source said the R&B star viewed the pregnancy as a gift from God, and she was so happy.
Beyonce and her 40-year-old rapper husband, real name Shawn Carter, married in a secret ceremony in New York in 2008.
